The Great Bear Sea: Reflecting on the Past–Planning for the Future
Journey to one of the richest ecosystems in North America in Green Fire’s latest film, The Great Bear Sea: Reflecting on the Past—Planning for the Future, due to be released in late spring. Home to First Nations for thousands of years, this region faces intense and competing development pressures. Uncertainty and potential for conflict abound.
In The Great Bear Sea, you’ll meet the people along the British Columbia coast who developed a shared vision for a new path forward–one of partnership and cooperation–and then turned this vision into marine plans that mesh ecological integrity with human well-being for generations to come. Watch the trailer!
