OCEAN FRONTIERS II ON PBS IN 2016!

Ocean Frontiers II, under the title of A New England Story for Sustaining the Sea, begins airing on PBS in April. This list of airdates and stations is updated regularly. Please note that dates and times are subject to change. Be sure to check your local PBS station listings to confirm. A New England Story for Sustaining the Sea is presented by Rhode Island PBS and National Education Telecommunications Association (NETA).

With the environment near the top of every list about current-day troubling issues, Green Fire Productions once again tells a positive story that transcends region to serve as a national model. Viewers will love hearing some positive news about our fragile planet.

A New England Story for Sustaining the Sea travels off the shores of New England where a modern wave of big ships, energy industries, and a changing climate are now testing the limits of an already crowded sea.  But in a pioneering trial of far-sighted planning – pushed by blueprints for offshore wind energy – old residents and new are coming together to keep their ocean and livelihoods alive.
